WASHINGTON, D.C. — On a sunny day steps from nan Lincoln Memorial, crowds of protesters gathered to guidelines up for science. 

Wispy clouds streaked crossed bluish skies arsenic group chanted, shouted and waved hand-made signs featuring technological puns and heartfelt pleas.
