It’s ‘personal.’ What the Stand Up for Science rally meant for attendees

WASHINGTON, D.C. — On a sunny day steps from nan Lincoln Memorial, crowds of protesters gathered to guidelines up for science. 

Wispy clouds streaked crossed bluish skies arsenic group chanted, shouted and waved hand-made signs featuring technological puns and heartfelt pleas. An hr into nan event, Francis Collins, nan erstwhile caput of nan National Institutes of Health, grabbed an acoustic guitar and started a science-themed singalong.
